What to do with a beautiful wooded peninsula sitting on a 25 mile long lake? Go Jump in a Lake!
In the Southeastern US during the real estate boom of 2004-2007 there were literally dozens of "unique" developments being created. Some contained golf, tennis, marinas, country clubs and even stables.
Summer Pointe was truly different; it was a simple gated neighborhood with a village green and community pool sitting on a knoll overlooking the lake. That's it...no high profile amenities, fancy guard gates and ridiculously high prices.
With the ownership group of GAMAC we decided to create a campaign based on fun, whimsy and memorable sayings. "Go Jump in a Lake," "Two Car Garage" (two boats on a dock), and "Ladies of the Lake" (a grandma and little girl sitting on a dock catching butterflies). Our goal was to create a sense of warmth, community and belonging to more than just an expensive piece of real estate.
The first campaign drove over 800 responses to the sales office with 50% of the development being sold out on the first offering.
That's enough to make anyone "Go Jump in a Lake!"
